Sunday March 1, 2015 – Still sick, feel horrible……this place is a giant science experiment!  Went to church and then Rick and U ran to the store to get meds.  People are starting to drop like flies around here.  Watched the race and worked on some paperwork and relaxed.  Not to motivated to get to much done until I feel better.

Monday March 2, 2015 – A full day of classes and still not feeling great, not getting worse but not a lot better either.  We ran to the CVS just off base and the Pharmacist told me to get Delsym Max Strength.  I hope it works because I can’t stop coughing.  Not much going on today, everyone is trying to either get over being sick or not to get it!  The clinic is swamped with sick people.

Tuesday March 3, 2015 – Finally feeling better, had a final exam and aced that, winding down a lot of the projects this week and early next week.  Looking forward to getting this stuff over with and enjoying the last 2 weeks!

Wednesday March 4, 2015 – Challenge Day!  It is Done!…..on to next week and the Yellow Brick Road!  People are dropping all over the place.  Floor 2 has been designated the Sickie Floor anyone with the flu is sent there.  Hope they return someday!  We got our black shirts that we can start wearing on Monday and our session pins, patches, and coins.  Tonight was Texas BBQ Night.  The Texas crew had brisket and sausage shipped in and cooked dinner for the session along with beer!  Worked on papers…..called it a night, there is a huge storm headed this way for tomorrow.

Thursday March 5, 2015 – CODE RED no classes the academy is closed!  Time to swim, do laundry, and finish up some papers.  This afternoon I finished the Blue Brick Challenge….34 miles of swimming complete!

Friday March 6, 2015 – After class several of us are going to a tour of Marine One here on base, then dinner and an early bedtime as we are headed to a full day on Saturday.  Code Blue this morning…….I have to laugh, classes don’t start until 1pm – Last day for GREEN SHIRTS!…..Cliff you made the blog brother!

Saturday March 7, 2015 – Montpelier and Monticello Tours today and then back to a classmates house for dinner and a few beers!  Wrapping up week #8, two weeks from now we will be waking in our own beds and happy to be home.
